What do you know about love?
Would you give your life for that person because you can't live without them?
Would you take a life because they are the only one you think of?
Would you change yourself knowing that things are going to end?

If for that person you wouldn't give up everything,
If for them you wouldn't risk more than you can handle,
If for them you wouldn't stay through all the suffering,
If for them you wouldn't stay even though they left your life in shambles...

Then you don't know love,
Then you know not what I speak of.

If you do not live day by day,
Knowing they ultimately control your fate.
Being a puppet at their sheer will,
Knowing you were just a cheap thrill.
Then maybe it's not love that you know,
Or maybe it's just a mask that you show.

If that's the case you can hide your true face,
But you'll be questioned for the games you've played.
You'll have to answer when you leave this place,
And it's the ultimate price you would have paid.

And it's not karma you should fear,
Its the reaper's steel blade when he gets here.
Because he doesn't judge, he can't be swayed,
He cuts down the the wicked with his cold steel blade.
Taking innocent and guilty, women, men and children alike,
